New England Colonial Series at Rye
Rye, New Hampshire
1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run

The Rye Olympic Distance Triathlon begins at Wallis Sands State Beach in Rye, New Hampshire. This post-Labor Day event is destined to become a staple of the New England Triathlon calendar. The ocean swim is a rectangular course around two buoys, off a wide, flat sandy beach. The bicycle segment hugs the shoreline into the Town of Hampton and then returns to Wallis Sands State Beach. This course is very flat and is certain to result in a host of personal records. The run section is along the start of the bike route to the north. The site is easily accessed from anywhere in New England. The arrangement we have struck with park officials allows us to use the beach and facilities for the entire day. Bring the family and spend the whole day celebrating the end of summer! Note: entry fee includes day-use beach permit.

There will be aid stations along the course for the bike and run segments. In addition, we will provide support from partners of local boating and emergency medical organizations.

Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology has been used to measure our courses, ensuring distance accuracy and compensation for natural changes in the terrain.
